The Journey Through The Cosmos is the first entry in the Little Blue Book Series and comprises of the first three discourses of the Monodoxy, which is itself the first disquisition of the founding book of Astronism which is titled the Omnidoxy. The Journey Through The Cosmos introduces readers to the mind of cosmic heights of Cometan, as the organised philosophy’s founder, and acts as the first instance of cosmic philosophy, or cosmontology.

The Journey Through The Cosmos is the title for the second discourse of the Monodoxy following the Compendological Introduction discourse and preceding the Functionalities of Progeny & Phenomena discourse. As the title suggests, Cometan takes you on a journey through his conception of the universe which he titles The Cosmos as a whole animate entity with a spiritual aspect and an aspect of destiny, both of which are only later explored as part of Astronist beliefs.

The Journey Through The Cosmos book serves two purposes. Not only does it introduce the world to Cometan, his writings in the Omnidoxy, and his philosophy of Astronism, but in the context of its publication as a book, The Journey Through The Cosmos introduces the Little Blue Book Series. The Little Blue Book Series was created and first published by Cometan himself as a way to simplify and commercialise the immensity of the two million word length of the Omnidoxy into smaller, more bite-size publications. A successful series from its very first published entry, the Little Blue Book Series has gone on to become a symbol of Astronist commercial literature and a way for Cometan’s words to reach readers of all ages and abilities who remain daunted by the beauty and yet the sheer extensiveness of the Omnidoxy as the longest religious text in history.
